Assignment Instruction Sheet
General Assignment Description:
Use the textbook and online research to analyze current event in organizational behavior and write
assignment response. Submit in Assignment Dropbox in Florida Online Classroom.
Assignment Components:
1. Find your Organizational Behavior topic you have been assigned in the tables at the end of
this document. You will note, each person in class is assigned a different topic.
2. Research/find a current event, journal article, news story relating to your topic (article within
last 2 yrs)
3. Write the Summary/Assignment Response (As Described Below!)
Current Events – Summary:
1 ½ -3 pages (from a Word Doc/Pdf). Should include the following:
o Introduction/summary of the article (or pertinent parts relating to Org B)
o Explanation/description of the Org B trend concepts that apply (must cite to textbook
chapter & section or pages)
o Must use concepts, terms, and support from the textbook that is applied in your
discussion of your article
o Further analysis discussion how these concepts apply — discussions are full of thought,
insight, and analysis appropriate to the topics
o Why you chose this article to write about
o Any further comments, conclusions, etc about the article or Org B; thoroughness,
discussion
o Must include works cited page or a copy/print out of the article you are summarizing.
o Professionalism counts (that means – grammar, spelling, punctuation, proper indentation,
organization, etc.)
o Refer to syllabus and general writing grading rubric for best practices
