- When you plan to buy a product and want to investigate its benefits and drawbacks, whose advice do you seek and why? How will your answer be different depending on the type of product/service? Find at least three product/service categories and answer whose advice you would seek for each product/service and explain why. (20 points worth)
- Do you think the advertiser will tell you about the drawbacks, or just the benefits and explain why you think so? For what kinds of products are advertisers more likely to talk about downside? (10 points worth)
- If you are trying to evaluate the product by researching it online, do you have more confidence in it if the seller makes other customers’ reviews available? Explain Why? (10 points worth)
- What if you read negative comments? Might you still buy the product? Why? Your answers can be different depending on the content and the quantity of the negative comments. How do they affect your answers? (10 points worth)
