Design a presentation public service announcement (PSA) informing the public on a topic relating to Nutrition and Weight Management, Physical Fitness and Cardiovascular Health, Stress and Sleep, or Substance Abuse and Addiction (your choice to choose one of the five topics.)
The PSA will inform the targeted audience of the topic or issue and may also attempt to convince the audience to have a change in beliefs or take action. The PSA may be submitted as a voiceover slide presentation or video and must be no longer than three minutes in length. Any exceptions may apply and are subject to the instructor’s approval. You will be assessed on your ability to apply these concepts, synthesize supporting evidence, and communicate information that is accurate, organized, and credible.
In this video presentation, you are expected to combine your own thoughtful analysis with facts, data, and information found in the textbook and at least three scholarly sources. Therefore, as in any scholarly work, you should not merely copy information from another author, but use evidence to support the contentions they have drawn from their findings and critically analyze related literature – this presentation has to be an analytical, not a summary of readings.
This presentation must meet APA requirements of format and style. You must cite the sources of all ideas, facts, and information used that are not their own, even if they have put the information into their own words. Failure to do so is a violation of the Academic Integrity Policy, even if the oversight is unintentional.
