The Communicator 2.0 Rubric and Guidelines
Rubric has been modified from ATI Guidelines and points will be awarded based on these guidelines:
Part I Required criteria:
1. Submit a Module Report. Actual points earned will be based on the highest percentage score earned
on the simulation.

Part II: Reflective Journal Required criteria
1. Write a 100-word minimum reflection with Logical reflective flow which follows standard grammatical
rules with minimal (1-2) misspellings.
2. Must include correct APA formatting- with correct cover page and paper formatting (page numbers,
font, size, spacing, indentation of paragraphs). There is a template in the course Files.
***Two separate paragraphs REQUIRED for the following criteria***:
3. Writes 1st paragraph that: Identifies how this scenario enhanced understanding of communication
techniques.
4. Writes 2nd paragraph that: Addresses how these communication techniques will be incorporated
into their own communication style to improve the nurse-patient/family relationship.
