MSM Capstone Case-Study
Select and examine an unethical organization or CEO of your choice within the last 5
years. Discuss ethical issues that have existed or currently exist within the company or
leadership. Synthesize your research and present a summary of your findings. From a
strategic standpoint, explain what your chosen organization is doing correctly and explain
what they could change in order to improve organizational performance. Give practical
advice that is grounded in research, & synthesize your findings to provide your
interpretation of the organization’s future outlook.
It is highly encouraged to use your classmates in order to receive feedback, prior to turning in your Case
Study; or in order to use them as a second set of eyes regarding the syntax and flow of your paper. This
is meant to be a real-world exercise that you may use as a practitioner in your career now and
throughout your future advancement. It can also be used as a writing example for future practitioner
positions. Writing samples are often asked for, during the application and interview process, for mid to
senior-level positions within the private and public sectors.
Formatting requirements:
Must be written in paragraph format using APA style. This means that all citations, both in-text and on
the reference page, must follow APA format. Please note that APA style provides a description for the
formatting of the paper (e.g., page numbers, spacing, margins, etc.).
Must be 3 full pages (APA style). This does not include the cover page (if used), the reference
section, and the appendices.
You must include a minimum of 3 different references, but you may use as many as you feel are
necessary to successfully develop your paper.
Grammar and spelling should be corrected before submitting your paper
Potential Sources: Your sources should be of high quality and reputable among the academic and
business community.
